We’re seeking an experienced Chef to manage the kitchen on weekends at this stunning 5 star care home set within it’s own grounds. It is essential that you are a good home baker and capable of making lovely cakes, puddings and biscuits as these are one of the most popular choices for out guests and are baked fresh daily. You will run our fresh food kitchen with the help of a KP, serving a hot lunch, buffet breakfast and afternoon tea to residents and be in charge of all the food cooked over the weekend. It is essential that you are a good people person as interaction with our guests is part of the territory as you will help design menus and ensure that their needs and tastes are met. Hours are flexible but will be around 7-4 or 8-5 saturday and sunday. You will be friendly, with good all round cooking skills and be a talented baker. This is a lovely working environment and a rare opportunity for someone to have a real impact on the kitchen whilst working 2 days a week.
